1. Eligibility windows
Refund eligibility depends on (a) how long since you enrolled and (b) how much course content you've accessed. We compute both at the moment you submit a refund request.
Full refund (minus GST)
Refund requests submitted within 7 days of enrolment AND with ≤ 10% course content accessed are eligible for a full refund, minus the GST already remitted to the government.
Partial refund (78% minus processing charges)
Refund requests submitted within 14 days of enrolment AND with ≤ 25% course content accessed are eligible for a partial refund of 78% of fees paid, minus payment-processing charges.
Placement-linked refund
Programs marked as placement-linked carry a 50% refund guarantee if (a) you complete the program with passing marks AND (b) we fail to facilitate at least 3 documented interview opportunities within 6 months of program completion.
Exceptional circumstances
Medical emergencies, family bereavements, or other documented exceptional circumstances are reviewed case-by-case and may qualify for full or partial refund outside the standard windows.
2. How to request a refund
- Sign in to your eMobility Academy account.
- Go to Settings → Payments → Request refund.
- Select your reason, attach supporting documents if applicable.
- Submit. You'll receive an acknowledgement within 24 hours.
3. Refund timeline
Approved refunds are credited within 10 working days to the original payment method. Bank-loan-financed enrolments require bank coordination and may take longer.
4. EMI cases
If you've paid only part of your fee via EMI, your refund is adjusted against the EMI principal. Future EMI instalments are cancelled, and any over-payment is credited back to your card.
5. Bank-loan-financed enrolments
Refunds on bank-loan-financed programs follow a different flow: the refund is paid directly to the lending bank, which closes or adjusts your loan. You'll receive a copy of the closure letter.
6. Disputes
If your refund request is denied and you disagree, email [email protected] with your case. We aim to respond to all escalations within 5 working days.
